This is a wonderful restaurant with a family environment and good home cooked meals that are priced right. I was passing through the area for the night and happened upon this restaurant. The food is great and priced right. My service was fantastic. Greeted with a smile and checked on very often. My food portions were generous and the desserts are to die for. If you love coconut cream pie its fantastic. You can also choose the salad bar as a side for your meal. Check it out if youre passing through.

Chicken fried steak, corned beef hash, apple pie (not too sweet, homemade, not the sugar free), carrot cake salad bar.

Amazing Food, great prices, large portions and very friendly staff.

Very nice and clean. Food was good and hot. Waitress was on top of things too. If covid is a concern, no one was wearing masks, not using every other table, but they were wiping menus down and cleaning tables.

In my travels I have determined that a true test of a restaurant is it's treatment of Liver and Onions. If you can do this well you can really say you've accomplished something. Chenoa Family Restaurant has some room for improvement. The liver itself was tender and moist but not rare. While it may have had a nice crisp to it coming off the grill, that was lost in the pool of beef juice in which the generous portion of meat swam. The onions that came with the liver needed about ten more minutes on a hotter grill. There was time for this had the cook honored my request for crispy hash browns. Sadly this was not done. I ate the green beans (the only thing on my plate that was overcooked) and half of the liver. The rest was brought home where I will fire up my cast iron skillet, put some color on those onions and crisp up those browns.

Excellent food, excellent service. Between the three of us we had a poor boy sandwich, chicken ranch wrap, and a mushroom burger. We all got soup which was creamy chicken noodle. It was all so good!

This should know a restaurant is a very very good place to eat. It has very good food and the salad bar is very delicious. The waitresses are very friendly they wait on you right away they bring your food out right away. It's a very family oriented place to go a. It's not dressy you can come as you are. You are very welcome here.

Favorite restaurant in Chenoa. Have been going there for 26 years. The original was torn down and a new one was built a few years ago.Extensive menu, family friendly, homemade desserts, good service. Never had a bad experience there. Highly recommend!

Hands down one of the best cheeseburgers I've ever had at a restaurant and it was absolutely huge ! Servers were very friendly.. and although I didn't try one of their desserts they look absolutely amazing and quite a variety to choose from.

Food Quality not good. They had a sick customer coughing and sneezing. They did nothing. Open salad bar that this sick man used.

Awsome Food, Awsome staff, Awsome location...

Food is great, new server thought everything was a joke and didnt even want to give us time to look at menu. Bleach was left in toilets at 4 PM urine is ammonia mix the ammonia and bleach you get a caustic substance similar to mustard gas. It can kill. I nearly passed out and when I complained the worker said no English no english and walked away laughing.

This place is so accommodating for truckers. The staff is super friendly and they have really good food. Of your near here stop in you won't be disappointed.

The best things I've ordered here have been the cabbage soup and the appetizer sampler. Not good quality steak meat and the crepes tasted like paper. They do have a large menu including waffles and many kinds of tasteless crepes, though.

My girlfriend and I love going here as the food is always good. As for food, I have tried the salmon which was pretty good. It is grilled, though, so if you do not like grilled fish I wouldn't recommend it. I have tried other foods at this restaurant and so far everything has been good ( wish I could remember what all I have tried.) I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for homemade style food that tastes great.

I reserved the banquet room in September for a family dinner in December. I confirmed with the owner two weeks prior to the event and he showed me in the reservation book that we did indeed have the room reserved. We arrived on the appointed date only to find the room had been given to another group. I was and am very upset. They did not honor their promise. We were set up in the main dining room in a space that was not large enough. Very very poor business practice. Needless to say they have lost my business.

Home cooking. Great chopped sirloin with plenty of fried onions. They do a nice whole fried catfish too.

The salad bar is excellent, comes as an option with meals! Great prices, very affordable yet high quality. I had their Walleye which was very delicious.

They set up a nice tent for outside dining and social distancing. Food and service is always good there.

The wait staff is EXCELLENT! Food is good! But I do NOT like how the owners treat the staff. VERY DISRESPECTFUL!

Had the Malibu Grilled Chicken sandwich with fries and a bowl of creamy chicken and noodles. The soup was very flavorful and tasted good, but I didn't care for the consistency. Fries were okay as was the sandwich. The sandwich was a good sized portion, but really lacked any flavor. Would have benefited from either a marinade or flavorful sauce/condiment. The bun was a standard hamburger bun that dissolved in either the chicken juice or pickle juice. Would have been better on a hardier bun/bread.In the end, it was something to eat that was not very exciting or tasty. It wouldn't take much to make it very good!

Hobo skillet was quite large and tasty.

Wait staff was friendly and efficient. wish they offered a choice of fruit or a vegetable instead of fries. There only option was to hold the fries and pay for a side.... Couldn't there be a swap or discount? Canned corn can't cost that much more than fries!
